Story Behind

Fruit Punch is a cocktail mixed with juice soda and different kinds of fruits.  In the 70s and 80s, it was a popular drink in Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng.

 

Tasting Note

The master behind MiMi Beer played with the taste of collective memories of childhood.  He created this super refreshing craft beer, which allows the rich flavours of strawberry, pineapple and apple to collide in your palate.

Story Behind
From Lion BeeBee's perspective, PANDA POWER embodies "Gentleness without Timidity." Since meeting Panda MiMi, Lion BeeBee has envisioned creating a beer that is robust, ages gracefully, and is perfect for slow savouring. Brewed in limited editions, this beer reflects MiMi's resolute and courageous approach to life. Thus, the PANDA POWER 2023 Imperial Stout was crafted to celebrate MiMi's birthday. Its unforgettable flavour was so beloved that, after selling out, we are excited to announce the creation of the new 2025 Imperial Stout Edition!
 
Tasting Note
This stunning Imperial Stout has a dense black colour and beautiful dark brown head.  Fabulous aromas of hazelnut intermixed with roasted chocolate, caramel, dried prune and smoke. It has a superb entry on the palate, full body, an opulent texture, silky and round, intense and complex.  A solid finish with strong bittersweet and nuttiness.  Good for aging.

Panda Power 2023 Imperial Stout.png

Story Behind
“MiMi Beer” was invited to collaborate with “Okinawa Bridging Asia”, a Japanese organization that acted as a trade window between Japan and Asia and the rest of the world; and “Kourmet 52”, a platform that specialized in sourcing and introducing exquisite high-end ingredients and gourmet food products to Hong Kong.  MiMi Beer’s Master Brewer Tomy has infused his beer recipe with essence from the Okinawa Shikuwasa fruit in brewing this fabulous Gose.  The result is that the Gose retains the unique aroma and flavour of these Okinawa Shikuwasa.  As both Gose and Okinawa Shikuwasa are high in acidity, Tomy decided to create a more popular entry-level Gose by reducing the level of sourness, compared to a typical Gose.  In doing so, Tomy hopes to appeal to new drinkers who may otherwise be discouraged by the Gose’s high acidity. 

In designing the beer label, Liz, creative & art director of "MiMi" and her team also pay special tribute to Japanese animation, which is one of Liz’s favourite media formats.  She intentionally designs the beer label to exude a feeling of Japanese animation.  Dressed in bikini, the super cute Panda MiMi happily plays on the beach under the glorious Sun.  The image of Okinawa instantly evokes in everyone’s mind!

Tasting Note
Shikuwasa infused this Gose with a unique aroma of lime & lemon.  It is tart but balanced, incredibly refreshing, with lots of citrus notes that leave a sharp and clean aftertaste.

Story Behind

In 2020, E.T. and Panda MiMi® are travelling in between new and retro.  By using Dried Tangerine Peel & Green Mandarine Orange from Xinhui, integrate with tradition Belgian beer style.  Back to the 20s, wish all the joy of returning to love in this world!

 

Tasting Note

Rich white head with good retention, fresh and delicate citrusy from the Dried Tangerine peel match very well with the dry and complex combination of Saison, moderate acidity, aftertaste with touch of spices and hops, very clean, very refreshing.  Well match with pizza or any cuisines with tomato sauce as the base.  Also can clean up the greasy feeling from fried dishes.
